- I don't believe this is exactly right for all .vfc modems. I have a
- Practical Peripherals .vfc modem and it connects at 28.8 , 26.6 ,
- 24.something ...etc. I can't see spending the $50.00 that P.P. want
- me to for a v.34 upgrade. My internet access is almost always 28.8 .
- Although I do know that on a v.34 if you xmit at 26.6 you can recieve
- at 28.8 -- they are independent. But on mine at least...one speed for
- both functions.
